BALM PROOFER™ WATER & STAIN PROTECTOR

Care Instructions

STEP 1: Test a small amount on an inconspicuous area before using all over.

STEP 2: Use on clean, dry surface.

STEP 3: Spray evenly over the entire shoe from about 30-40cm away.

STEP 4: Leave it to dry for at least 4 hours.

STEP 5: For suede or nubuck products, use a suede brush to smooth out the nap.

STEP 6: Reapply every 3 weeks if wearing regularly.
WAXIMUM™ WAXED LEATHER PROTECTOR

Care Instructions

STEP 1: Use a clean cloth to remove any dust or dirt from the surface.

STEP 2: Test a small amount on an inconspicuous area before using it all over (this may cause the leather to darken).

STEP 3: Using the included sponge applicator, spread a thin, even layer over a clean, dry surface and blend in thoroughly.

STEP 4: Wipe evenly and thoroughly.
DRY CLEANING KIT

Care Instructions

STEP 1: Use a brush to remove any dry dirt or dust.

STEP 2: For stubborn stains and dirt, lightly rub the cleaner bar on the stained area.
*Please note that rubbing too hard may remove the colour.

STEP 3: Use a brush to loosen the dirt.

STEP 4: Rub the brush over the entire area again to make the hair stand up.
RENEWBUCK™ FOAMING CLEANER

Care Instructions

STEP 1: Test a small amount on an inconspicuous area before using all over.

STEP 2: Remove all stains with a dry cleaning kit or suede brush (sold separately).

STEP 3: Spray an appropriate amount onto a clean, dry cloth and spread evenly over the entire surface. Avoid applying to specific areas as this may result in uneven colouring.

STEP 4: Use a suede brush to smooth the nap. *Dry stains and dirt will be difficult to remove, so treat any stains or dirt immediately. Use Balm Proofer All-Purpose Protector (sold separately) regularly to help prevent water stains from adhering.

ABOUT CARE PRODUCTS

    • Yes, no problem.

    • If used correctly, it will not stain or discolour.
      In rare cases, it may cause darkening, so we recommend testing a small amount on an inconspicuous area before using it all over.

    • Yes, you can. After use, please leave the product to dry for at least 4 hours.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SHOES

    • We recommend consulting a professional to assess the stain. To protect smooth leather from stains, use Waximum™ Waxed Leather Protector.

    • To protect suede and nubuck leather from stains, spray with Balm Proofer Water & Stain Protector. If staining has occurred, use the Renewbuck™ Suede and Nubuck Cleaner to remove stains.

    • These stains are difficult to remove from any materials. We suggest contacting a professional for advise.

    • We recommend using Balm Proofer™ All-Purpose Protector for suede and nubuck footwear on the day you purchase the product.
      How often you use it is up to you, but if you use the product frequently, we recommend using it every 3-6 weeks.

    • Store your care products in a cool, dry place without direct sunlight.

    • We recommend using Waximum™ Waxed Leather Protector, which softens the leather.
      Please note that it should not be used on suede or nubuck leathers.

    • We recommend starting gently. Scrubbing too hard can remove the nap. Take care to increase pressure gradually.

    • We don't recommend using polish wax. We do recommend using Waximum™ Waxed Leather Protector as it will restore the existing dye in the leather.

    • For smooth leather, the oils can be restored with Waximum™ Waxed Leather Protector.
      For other materials such as suede and nubuck, this is a normal, wear-and-tear process caused by exposure to sunlight and cannot be reversed.

    • We don't recommend drying your shoes with a hair dryer or any kind of direct heat source after using care products. We recommend air drying your shoes at room temperature.
